Sugar Rush - John

Sugar Rush - Alex

FINALLY watched Wreak if Ralph last week. A very cool movie that you can tell was made by people who love and play video games, and not by people who THINK they know what video games are or THINK they know what kids like.

My only crit of the movie is that it fallows the Disney formula way to closely at the end. It really felt like it was going through the motions, They should really take a chance with something new, you already have the audience sold on your movie by the last act, I would have liked to see one more game in there (which I read there was) or a bunch of games.

Also, best joke "Children of the candy corn"

Sugar Rush - Laura

I haven't even seen the movie yet!  Here's a very rushed sketch that turned into crude Sugar rush attempt. I was messing around with some coloring techniques before the sketch was even solid and so it has issues. I'm sure I'll do another one after I see the flick!

Can you guess my candy? It's my favorite ^_^.

New Style! Sugar Rush

Hey everyone! It has been a while since our last post, and I thought since generally everyone loved Wreck-it Ralph and the Sugar Rush racers are so adorable, picking them as the new style would be a good way to get back into this.

I couldn't find a good place for concepts of the racers, but I found this wiki page with some good stills of them to work off of. Link

Hilary: Kim Possible

This style was a tricky one for me, it took a lot longer than anticipated.

Alex: Kim Possible

I think the hardest thing to nail in this style are the proportions. I think the head needs to be slightly larger.

Laura - Kim Possible

Here's my first try at the Kim Possible style. I think It's not quite there yet. I'll keep messing with it.

I wish I had a dress this color for reals.

Cassandra: Kim Possible

Norman: Kim Possible style

Had a lot of fun with these, decided to do two of them. Done with brush and ink and photoshop color. I need to rescan these at school, the line work doesn't really shine.

New Style!

Cassi and I picked Kim Possible as the next style. Here is a link to some model sheets.

In about a week we'll post a new one. As for people who haven't posted yet, it's not too late. I'm sure everyone would still love to see your versions in Odd Parents and Adventure Time style.

Thanks Everyone! Keep drawing!

Fairly Odd Parents! Hilary

Fairly odd parents. This was fun, I kinda wanted to be a fairy but I'm a bit too big for that I'm afraid...

Adventure Time! Hilary

I'm pretty mellow here, with my stereotypical triangular hair mass. I don't actually watch much adventure time.

Cleaned up my sketch in flash.

Adventure Time! Cassi

This is me in the morning. I love coffee. A little too much.

Welcome Everyone!

New idea that started from Cassi and I yesterday. Lets get the ball rolling and make some posts! Cassi and I already did a couple portraits in adventure time and fairly odd parents style. Those posts will be showing up soon. I'll also post some reference so everyone else can get started too.
